Say Hello to Curtis McFarland

Curtis McFarland

Co-Director of Men's Ministry

Curtis and his family started attending MPCC about three years ago. He is married to his beautiful gorgeous wife Vicki and has 3 wonderful children...Preston 20, Parker 16 and Hailey 8.

He decided to get involved in helping to lead men's ministry because we live in a society where men portray or resemble always having to "have it all together." Men need a safe place where they can be themselves – whether hurting, struggling or rejoicing. Men need fellowship with other Men, doing guy things.

Unlimited budget: What would be in your man cave?
My man cave would be much greater than just a cave it would be an Oasis. There would be multiple indoor and outdoor flat screen televisions, huge barker lounge chairs, full kitchen with the best appliances, a giant grill, extra large “big green egg” (smoker), giant Weber charcoal grill, and an out of your mind walk-in beach swimming pool with a water fall. It would be the perfect escape for plenty of room for all.

If you had to write a book about yourself, what would be the title and some potential chapter names?

What was the moment in your walk with Jesus that you realized “I want to follow Jesus forever”?
During a quiet time the morning of August 9, 2009 while attending an “Every Man’s Battle” conference in Santa Ana, Ca. I came to the realization that I am powerless without Christ leading my life and that only he could give me the strength to change my life.
