Founded in 1946, early on, the India Gospel League established an unprecedented goal of starting 1 million churches. Establishing their standard of what a church consists of (a trained ordained pastor, 20 baptized members, and other organizational factors) they reach that goal in 2017. IGL is a very organized non-profit and Mountain Park has supported it since 2014. Mountain Park established one of those million churches in 2016 on the island of Sri Lanka. Our goal with IGL, like all our global partnerships, is to find how we can best “Work the Harvest” and accomplish Christ command of Matthew 28:19.
