Kids church is where kids birth-5th grade hear from God’s word, worship together, and build friendships. These kids are a part of the church RIGHT NOW! It is our joy to help kids and families realize their role in God’s story. Join us at the 9:00am or 10:45am service.
It is our privilege to care for your little ones ages 6 weeks - Pre-K. We meet every Sunday at both services downstairs in our age-specific environment. Our team would love to partner with you to introduce your child to Jesus - their foundation. Our awesome volunteers will lead your kids through crafts, prayer, Bible stories, games, and playtime all centered around Jesus.
We love to see our K-3rd grade kids having fun each and every Sunday upstairs at elementary kids church. Check your kids into their age-specific small group, and be greeted by our incredible elementary leaders. Kids will then move to our Large Group time where we play games, worship, and hear from God’s word together. Leaders will reinforce Bible truths through kid-friendly crafts and activities.
There is something special about the preteen age, and we are intentional to make your 4th and 5th graders feel welcome. Preteens meet upstairs in our Elementary kids church environment every Sunday at both services. There they get to hang out with their leaders and friends! Preteens also attend Large Group time, where all kids play games, worship, and hear God’s word together. At this age, we allow 4th-5th graders to realize their role through various leadership roles like our Kids Worship and Production teams.
As you walk into the building, look for the NEW HERE START HERE tent. Our welcome team will meet
your family and create your family profile in our database system. We will ask for the following
personal information: family members’ names, kids’ names and birthdates, a phone number, and any
special instructions (allergies, special needs.) Then they will direct your family to their
age-appropriate environment and walk you through your first check-in experience on one of our
At check-in, you will receive THREE tags per child, including; a name tag for your child, the Leader Tag to be given to your child’s small group leader for their roster, and a Parent Pick-Up tag to be kept and presented at Pick-Up. Our team would LOVE to get to know your child and give them a special kid’s church gift, so please drop by our First-Time Kids station outside each kid’s environment.
We are so excited to meet your family!
Our leaders are more than volunteers, we are family. Jump-in to our squad to impact the faith-lives of kids ages birth-5th. Kids church leaders are invited to commit to serving at just one service time every week, every other week, or once a month. Fill out our interest form and attend our Volunteer Preview available on the fourth Sunday of every month. Volunteer Preview gives you a glimpse of why we love to do what we do! We cannot wait to have you with us.
Our check-in iPad stations are located outside along the wall of each of our kids' church environments (both downstairs and upstairs).
Safety is a top priority for Mountain Park Kids. This is why we require each family to follow our check-in and tag procedures every Sunday. No children may be dismissed from our kid's church environments without a Parent Pick-Up tag presented. For those with allergies, our Kids Church rooms are snack-free. If a child must eat a snack, they must eat it outside of our rooms. This is to keep all our kids safe from any allergens. If a special treat is provided on a special occasion, parents will be notified ahead of time with signage at check-in and outside of the kid's room. Each of our volunteers must undergo an application process, training, and background check to serve within our ministry.
We are sorry you have not received communication! Monthly kid's church emails go out the first week of every month, and on occasion, you will receive other email notifications about upcoming events. If you have yet to receive our communication, check your spam folder first. If you are still trying to get through, visit this link to log in and make sure we have the correct email on file. You could also try using a different email address. While in your account, go ahead and also turn on SMS communication to receive text reminders. The good news is that you can always find more information about upcoming events through our Instagram and Mountain Park Events pages. Follow us on Instagram @az.mpkids and visit our events page here.
Parents of little ones should plan to bring a diaper bag with a change of clothes, diapers, and any other necessary items for their child. For kids PreK and up, please encourage them to bring a Bible to church. Bringing their very own Bible will help them in their personal faith walk.
For safety reasons ALL kids who enter our spaces must be registered, even if they are a guest. If you need help adding a friend to your account, please visit the New Here Start Here tent.
