Part of being a safe place means we are okay with questions. Asking is part of who we are. Below is a list of common questions we’ve received. If you have a question that you don’t see here, contact us and we will answer as best we can.
Whether you are joining us onsite or online you will experience great music, a biblically based message, humor, and creativity. We take Jesus seriously but not ourselves and believe that church can be both meaningful and fun for all ages.

Kids Ministry is available during our services where kids gather in nurturing age-specific environments. Our strategy is simple: to keep these environments purposeful, safe, and fun.
YTH Ministry at Mountain Park is a big deal and we’re passionate about seeing YTH become leaders of today and tomorrow as they follow Jesus. We do this in two ways — we strive to create opportunities for YTH to be a part of the larger body of Mountain Park and to connect them with their own peer group in age-relevant environments.
Weekly
Weekly on Sunday mornings, YTH Bible Study for Middle School and High School takes place during our services. This is a time for YTH to to study God’s word collectively. We also encourage YTH to worship with their families, find ways to serve, and connect with others intentionally.
In his teachings and actions, Jesus inspired his followers to share his love with the world in tangible ways. Over and over again, he made it clear that his followers were called to make a difference by serving others. In doing so, we are not simply doing good deeds, we are expressing the Kingdom of God. We are proactive in meeting the spiritual, emotional, and physical needs of others here in our church , our city , and our world .
Throughout the week, we offer ongoing care & support groups, physical fitness , financial management , and marriage enrichment for individuals in our community and for those who call Mountain Park their home church.
Mountain Park is part of the Church of God movement with headquarters in Anderson, IN. We consider our affiliation with the Church of God the best of both worlds. On one hand, we are part of something bigger than ourselves – we are part of the larger Church. On the other hand, we are a self-governing church – free to direct vision and style according to the leading of the Holy Spirit.
Yes. Women may participate fully in the leading and teaching of our church.
At Mountain Park we consider it a privilege to minister to the entire family. Kids Ministry is available during our Sunday services for ages Birth – 5th Grade. Our strategy is simple: to keep Sundays purposeful, safe, and fun. It is our hope and prayer that all kids, leaders, and parents have the best church experience possible so that they can have a real encounter with Jesus. Our Kids Team also provides numerous resources for kids and parents to engage in at home throughout the week.
